I have participated in two competition on IDE for an Office event
One is the story writing and other one is the tagline for
IDE
Tagline chosen is –“Get Ethics with our Ethnics !!!”
Story is as below
I joined the firm in 2021 where Covid 19 was at its peak and
most of us were working remotely.
To encourage the team to speak up, my manager use to keep
daily team meetings.
When Each one of us
feel safe to express ideas, we as a team perform better.
Gradually , team was encouraged to be present in office and
meet face to face.
I happen to meet people from diverse cultural background .
Diversity is the new normal
Its is the art of thinking Independently together &
Treating each other with kindness and compassion
I learnt I am more creative in diverse environment. I learnt
a new language taking the opportunity that our firm had offered in form of
Arabic classes.
It’s the empathy and the kindness that wins heart.
Respecting and accepting each other is
the essence of being Human .
Lessons I learnt throughout my journey so far
1. Addressing
inequality in constructive way leads to balanced and inclusive work environment
2. I need to
constantly improve my knowledge and be able to contribute ideas on further
improvements
3. Micro
actions result in macro changes
4. To be
proud of my uniqueness and be able to connect dots in different way.
